We are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole’s current and possible future impact on Florida. Since our students and staff are located throughout the state, we want to ensure everyone’s safety. Digital Academy of Florida (DAOF) schools will be closed Thursday, November 10, 2022. The school office building in Jacksonville will be closed, and instructional staff will not report to work on 11/10/22. While teachers will be unavailable, courses will remain open and families will have access to them, if they wish. We anticipate re-opening schools on Friday, November 11, 2022. In addition to local media outlets, you may also visit https://www.floridadisaster.org/ for the latest information and helpful resources. We will continue to keep our families notified with up to date information and understand that power outages and service disruptions may be taking place. If you have been affected by the storm, please reach out to your teachers when you are able to safely do so. Thank you for your support as we continue to work together to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and school communities. Sincerely, DAOF Administration |
