Dear Students and Learning Coaches, Welcome to the second week of assessments! This week, most of us will be tackling the FAST Math assessments for PM3, and we want to remind all of us to approach them with confidence and determination! Here are some helpful tips to make the most out of our testing experience: 1. Math Tip-Utilize Scratch Paper: Don't hesitate to use scratch paper provided during the test to work out those tricky math problems. Sometimes, seeing it written out can help us better understand the question. 2. Math Tip-Use Formulas Button: This button is available in our testing platform, so let's make use of the formulas button when needed! It can save us time and help us focus on solving problems, by looking for measurement conversions, and formulas. 3. Don't Skip Breakfast: Remember to fuel your brain with a nutritious breakfast to keep us energized and focused during the assessments. 4. Review, Review, Review: Keep reviewing with our teachers, whether through in-person classes or self-paced resources like Nearpods. Practice makes perfect! 5. Stay Positive: Let's believe in ourselves and our abilities. We've prepared for this, and we can absolutely conquer it! Also, a friendly reminder to all of us to re-register for the following school year if we haven't already done so. Securing our seats early ensures a smooth transition for the upcoming academic year. For learning coaches, please take advantage of additional resources for FAST Prep, if needed. These resources can provide extra support and guidance to help students excel. See below! Lastly, let's not forget about any overdue assignments, retakes, or missing work. Grades will be finalized by May 15th, so let's use this time wisely to catch up and improve our academic standing. Let's make this week a successful one! Let's keep pushing forward, stay focused, and remember that our hard work will pay off. We've got this! Wishing all of us the best, 4th grade teachers important dates:
