Amazing Students and Coaches, Our first round of end of year testing is almost complete! We know our students that were scheduled this week, rocked their in person writing assessment. Our writing window continues next week, so your fourth-grade teacher may be out assisting with statewide assessments. Learning must continue, so please make sure you are completing any student paced lessons in your student plan or email in lieu of live class connects. Be sure to read our newsletter to keep up to date with the latest and greatest in 4th grade! FAST Writing Testing Window: If you are scheduled for next week, please be mindful that students are expected to attend their testing site in person to complete this assessment. You should have received an email from Testing Nirvana with the student's location date and time of the test. is a requirement to remain enrolled at DAOF. If you need assistance locating this information, please reach out to your student's homeroom teacher. Reregistration for 2024-2025 school year: Your story continues with DAOF! Re-registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. Save your spot for next year by re-registering your student today! Please see the graphic below for more info. Writing Assignment-Cellphones Argumentative Essay: If you haven't already sent your completed essay to your teacher, please make that a priority this week. You will receive credit in the gradebook for submitting your essay. We have included a checklist for Argumentative essays. We encourage students and learning coaches to use this checklist to ensure their essay includes all the important parts of an argumentative essay. (See below) Additional Resources for FAST: As we get closer to our progress monitoring assessment in May, we will continue adding helpful resources to this tab on our webpage. This will include insight to the types of questions students will be encountering on the FAST test, along with tips to prepare for the assessment. We ask that learning coaches support their student by taking advantage of this valuable resource.
